The Ship – Oundle and The Hop & Grain – Cambridge (Greene King BOTB) – 2/7/17
This weekend we had two gigs which were both on the Sunday. First we head over to Oundle to perform as part of the Oundle Fringe festival, We were performing at The Ship for our first of the two Fringe slots, our second being on Fri the 7th July. Nice weather encouraged out spectators & supporters of the festival which gave us a very nice crowd in very high spirits. Our set went down well with the locals and after the Third encore we had to disappoint the newly converted Flashers or we ran the risk of being late for our next gig.
We quickly packed up and hit the A14 to Cambridge, Luckily traffic was on good behaviour and didn’t cause any problems. This Time! Our second gig of the day which was at The Grain & Hop in Cambridge was part of the Greene King Battle of the Bands. Sadly we missed most of the other acts performances due to our previous gig. The ones we did see were very good and enjoyable, so we were very surprised to be announced that we won the heat and will be going through to the regional finals, (Date to be announced – keep an eye on Facebook twitter etc). So when its announced we hope to see you there.
It was a great day and we cant wait to do it all again next weekend.
